Dudes..
Im after some engine mountings to hold a 1800 cvh Saphire in my MK Indy. Dont suppose these are standard brackets are they? or will I have to get some made up?

If you are taking the engine out to change the mounts i would take this chance to......

Throw it in the nearest skip and get some pinto or even zetec beans under the hood!

That's the kind of really helpful advice you get when you mention 1800CVH......

You would think it was the engine equivalent of having aids............

Not a bad engine , difficult to tune 'cos not much available for them in standard form

Have skimmed an gasflowed the head on mine ,and also fitted a Weber DGV in place of the little Pierburg.......

Smooth & Torquey , low maintainance , cheap, VERY cheap , this is Locostbuilders after all ...

Shouldnt need to take the engine out, but if I do, I'll be replacing it with a proper engine..... Yamaha R1.
