Selling my MK Rolling Chassis
sickbag - 20/11/11 at 06:02 PM

Unless there's a drastic upturn in my financial situation in the next few months I may need to sell my MK Indy 'R'. I was thinking of selling the rolling chassis seperately to the smaller components to try and reach a wider audience. So, based on that what do you guys think I should price it at? Details are:

MK Indy 'R' chassis - Factory powder coated black with full roll cage
All bodywork supplied - body in orange, cycle-wings and rear arches in black
R1 5PW motor with all bits needed to run - fitted
Sierra 3.36 diff - fitted
MK suppied modified prop and R1 adaptor - not fitted
Wilwood 4 pot brakes up front - fitted
standard Sierra disks at back - fitted
Wilwood dual M/Cylinders - fitted
Sierra quick rack and standard column - fitted

I bought the Indy 'R' 3 years ago with the intention of doing trackdays for a year or so then racing it in the RGB series, but that now looks unlikely.

I've got to be honest - I have no idea what it is worth. When I look at receipts, etc, it owes me just over 7 grand, but I know I'll never recoup that. If he wanted the smaller compnents too, ie radiator, fuel components, steering wheel, etc, then I can price them in too.

I went through a phase of buying parts but not having time to fit them.

Sorry I didn't update. I was selling as, like many others, because funds were in short supply, and it's always the toys to go first. My situation has now changed for the better and I am now keeping the car. I'm even hoping to get it drivable by the end of July. Fingers crossed

Thanks for the interest though.
