Got my sva booked for next Friday, got two weeks off and all looks well… until I take the bubble wrap off the rear wings to find I have two left hand
ones! Grrr.. On the phone to MK sorry none in stock have to order one on Monday (don’t know why not today) and will be back on Friday… So I will have
to bugger about with the other left one to make it fit for the SVA.. more work..
Not the first problem either.. got the chassis for a R1 engine and was supplied a Fireblade one also I had to get the exhaust manifold re-welded..
So when you pick up your kit make sure ALL the parts you get are the correct ones or make out a checklist just like Robin Hood do….
Thats part of the fun.....just to make sure you are paying attention! LOL be nice to Charlie and ye shal get.................
Where are you in Fife? I am in Dunfermline.. Oh I forgot to mention the two same sided ball joints and the no Locknuts... It must have been a Friday
Car! its funny how your stress levels go up when you have a sva date to go for...
Think yourself lucky i ordered a westfield which have an army of staff and checklists and must have been short at least twenty brackets parts etc. To
be fair everything they forgot was sent asap.
Even kit manufacturers are human though so allow for a few mistakes.

Ok I have calmed down a bit now!
What I can say is that everyone at MK have always been very helpful in sorting things out. I am sure everyone who has built or is building a car knows
how frustrating things can be.

the SVA is at Bishopbriggs- anyone done one there, last one I did was in Aberdeen
i've got a blue one been f/glassed on the inside if your desperate i can take it to harrogate and leave it with the lads then get it back to them
