What rate springs are best for a Indy with R1 in it

i want it more track focused than road

mine seems a bit soft tbh

There's no simple answer to the question you've asked and you'll likely get a lot of differing opinions on the best spring rates to use for track. There are lots of other factors to take into consideration besides spring rates but having said that, springs are relatively cheap to buy even new, so it might be worth doing a bit of experimenting with different spring rates to find the ones which best suit your application and driving style.

Do you know what rate springs you currently have fitted front & rear? Also, when you say they're a bit soft, what do you actually mean (what characteristics are you trying to overcome)?

If you want some advice on what has been found to work on various MK Indy's for track day usage then give me a call at the workshop.

As said there's to many variables to give a straight "THAT WORKS " on every car.

Ive noticed that when i jack up the back of my Indy both rear wheels come straight off the ground without any noticeable suspension deflection . With everything else Ive ever worked on, including other kit cars, im used to the body lifting visibly (increasing the gap between wheels and arches) before the wheels come off the ground. Is this normal or does something badly need adjusting ?
