Tried putting drive shafts though the fabricated hubs of my MK Indy today, but they don't fit?

Only by about 0.5mm, any one else had this problem, or suggest a solution I'd be grateful.

Are the drive shaft from a car with ABS? If they are then you need to get the ABS splines machined off.

Alternatively, I guess you may be able just to file the hole a little larger! I'm not 100% sure if this is recommended by MK though- ask them.

Drive shafts fit one end to diff and the the other to hub,its the hub thats fits into the hub carrier fabricated by MK.

If the hub doesnt fit in the carrierspeak with MK,hub carriers are made to fit either drum or disc brake system because bolt pattern is in a different possition for hub to carrier.

As james said,if its rear disc set up and the HUBS have the ABS teeth on,they will have to be turned to remove(some take a file to them but the choice is yours)

I had this problem, in my case due to ABS, I just got the angle grinder out and smoothed them off, fit perfectly

Grind of the teeth round the end off.

Cheers lads, but i'm using standard (non ABS) shafts, so the shafts are smooth already and the hubs were spec'd for drums. Looks like a bank holiday mon with a file enlarging the holes.

If i don;t get anywhere near i'll get in touch with MK on tues.
