MK Indy rear drive shafts

hi all..

After my post last night about BEC speeds i am searching for a lower ratio diff to my 3.92.. Mine has push in shafts and didn't know if they had been shortened at all as i got the kit part built..

My diff has push in shafts and many of the diffs i am looking at on fleabay have bolt on shafts so i was wondering on whats what with them, I read on here you can remove the bolt on stub shafts, is that right?

looking at a 3.62lsd hence my question..

Many thanks in advance..

If your car is a Indy the shafts are standard length of the sierra

I have a 3.62 for sale but i'm pretty sure that it's non LSD, not sure if you could put the crown wheel and pinion from the 3.62 onto your LSD

£40 if you want it

hi all..

thanks for the info... I have won a 3.62 lsd on fleabay now with bolt on shafts.. i will get some shafts and get it on soon before i take advantage of ever fuel station on the a2 to get from a-b...

Before you go to far the rear uprights are different on a bolt on shaft axle i believe as they have discs brakes
just do some more checking before going to far
I expect someone will be along that knows better then me
