Just looked at the prop to see how it connects to the diff, looks like the diff has threaded holes to screw into but just wondered what other people
have done.
Do I drill out the holes and then bolt through the holes or do I just screw into the existing threads, if so what thread is it as an M8 didn't
seem to fit correctly.

Use good-quality bolts of the right size, torque'd up to the right setting (quite high!), and maybe use some threadlock while you're at
it.
Do a good job, as the consquences of this joint coming apart are horrendous!

Definitely use threadlock - I reused my original bolts (after checking they were in decent condition) as I remember they were an odd thread.
I followed Snoopy's advise - called local Polar Ford dealership - ordered new bolts - the arrived for collection the following day for a grand total of £3.60!
Yep, i purchased new ones from fords £4 ish i think,accompanied with thread lock and tighetened till my knuckes bled
