Just looking at my gear linkage kit and the is a long shaft and short shaft rose jointed at each end, the pivot bit that goes on the footwell, the bit
that goes on the gear lever on the engine and then there is another piece of tube about 2inches long drilled and threaded but I can't work out
where it goes.
I reckon if I use this bit between the footwell attached pivot and the short shaft I can mount the pivot higher on the footwell and avoid my brake
pipes.
Just wondered if anyone else had a similar bit and if so where it went??
Rich.
Just fitted the front bit and the little short bit makes an excellent extension piece so that the pivot can be mounted higher on the footwell. All
seems to fit nicely, just the lever to do now.
Rich.
i'm curious as mine only had 2 rods any chance of a fitted photo to see extention as really you need everything as paralel to each other as
possible
