ok probably of zero interest to any of you but i'm well happy! finaly got the engine running last night!had the timing a mile and a half out to start with which led to some serious pop bang and flame action but once that was sorted it sounds spot on

the neighbours were none to happy though.......it was getting on for 11pm when it finaly fired up

now to get the radiator plumbed in....

Exhaust system always help when neighbours are concerned... Did for me anyway

Well done! It's always one of the best bits of a biuld to hear the powerplant come to life. It's a real good feeling of progress!
Next one is getting her out for a test drive!
