Rollcage stays.

I want to fit some rear stays to my standard roll bar after seeing a few pics of normal ones failing. Anyone done this? Not sure if MK can supply the parts for me to get done locally or I could just go to a local fabricator to get them fitted.

Snoopy, wonder if you can help me? Where do i put the bolts on my rollbar? because it seems to me that at least one of the bolts will not go thru due to chassis bars. can u show me a pic or diagram? Much appreciated!!

Or a mixture of both rivnuts and bolts, with bracing.

Im making up some Stainless steel single type( double U ones) for mine will post pic's when done

Hi,dont mean to be killjoy but stainless doesn't have the same characteristics as high tensile steel bolts.
I know some have used rivnuts etc but it could be crucial to your safety especially if you have not fitted rear stays (like myself).
My intention after SVA is to fit a full cage, having once had the pleasure of landing on the roof at 85mph whilst off roading,it was surprising how many times we bounced!

No not bolts.
The roll cage.
