i have a 14ah bike battery on mine, but when you think about it, a bec shouldn't need any more juice than a bike, unless you want to run a heater or an electric reverse etc. I would guess that a standard blade one should be fine. Try it and see, its not an expensive mistake if you need to up the size later.

yip i would also go for the 14ah
i'd get either a yausa or varta sealed battery ,they cost a little more but well worth it

I ran a YTX9BS (same as blade bike) on mine, it was OK but could probably do with a bit more juice on occasions so a 12-14Ah like the others have recommended sounds about right.
Give MDS Battery a call, one of the guys there Mike Field runs in RGB so if you tell them youve got a BEC and mention the Yahoo BEC list they'll usually give you a bit of discount.

Thats an additional 5kg which equals a good 12bhp/ton decrease on the pub bragging rights
