I just ordered a MK-Indy from Holland and I want to know if anyone did fit the 2.0 L DOHC ford sierra to an Indy.
Can MK supply the engine mounts ?
I'm sure someone has with great success but if you are looking for a budget car engine I would go for a Pinto or Vauxhall as they are better supported by spares suppliers and tuners.
Thx, but I have one off the "shelf"

Rene,
Try getting in touch with peter hikspoors from the dutch kitcar club (www.kitcarclub.nl). As far as i know, he's currently building an MK with
the sierra 8V DOHC engine. I think there are some height related problems.
Sebastiaan
Hello Sebastiaan,
I got the same name from my MK-indy-agent Luke H., and I know that the EFI doesn't fit under the bonnet. It's the same with the Dax.
But I a am curious about the engine mountings and if they will be supplied by the factory.
Thanks, by the way.
I've just resumed construction of my MK Indy DOHC, but mines using the carb version. My mate tried using the EFi but doesnt fit at all. I have a bonnet bulge which i think will help with some unforseen problems. As far as mountings are concerned they told me to make up a mock up template of wood or something, and they'll do their best to copy it, in steel of course. I'm live quite close to MK, if i succeed and your still interested i can try and get them to copy mine to send to you?

I think a twincam is always better than a single one !
