it down at Cadwell..........
The £34.99 aldi Gezbo performed magnificently............
shame i didnt.......
Nuff said.
what happened to you?saw you roll to the top of the mountain then somethin went wrong?
A new one on me, drive shaft "pulled out" of diff, nothing broke, springy clip still in place so puzzled a bit......shame as i was sitting
waiting quite comfortably with at least 3 cars well in my sights, I'd already pulled out of two overtaking manoeuvres on the 1st lap waiting for
tyres too warm up and checking where the grip was too be had, the start finish straight was wet through off line so was pleased to pick one place up
at start even though i was on the wet line all the way too the 1st corner, now qualifying was a different story altogether.......
well in the back of my mind was the little incident i had there last time, i spun at top of the mountain on my 1st lap, next time round there was a
car stuffed in barriers in same spot n basically i drove like a pussy the whole session.
Glad to see you were out to have fun....
don't you just love it when something cheap does a good job...
don't you hate it when something expensive lets you down....
I was awaaaay up north at the sprint at Golspie...camped there....
my face is red with the sun.....
seriously, it was roasting this afternoon
Saturday was kinda low cloud and gloomy, but it JUST managed to stay dry....
what a cracking track....a thoroughly good social weekend
my times weren't as good as I would have liked though...NEED to sort out the front of the car. it's just too high and understeers badly.
Jon, were you running a full soft set-up on the rear, for grip? If so, you might find that your suspension travel has exceeded the available movement
in the driveshaft, hence popping it out of the diff. If it happened the mountain, I think that the suspension's gone to full droop plus a bit as
you've crested it, and popped the driveshaft out.
Colin, get your car over to the workshop and we'll get it on the corner scales (and I can put a sticker on the car!! )

Steve...
Sounds good to me...I'll give you a buzz.
Fair point on suspension travel but we have that one covered, think I've sussed it.............
I run a quaife ATB diff, prob like you, the one that is grease filled ? anyhow it turns out it is possible too pressurise them when pumping grease in
and this can "hydraulic" the shafts out, next time i grease it i will take one of the nipples out too allow any excess pressure to escape.
