why not try an ignition advancer, it simply bolts on-direct replacement and gives em more torque all for about £45

These cars need to be driven carefully. If you do so, you won't need any extra power for say 1-2 years (until you learn how to use the power you've got without trashing your car, I trashed mine much earlier so I can't say from experience really).

Big bore kit and flat slides should give nice reliable power c150 bhp. Cost will be approx £1500 less if you can do the work yourself.

But for that money you would probably be better upgrading to an R1.

But as the others say get used to the power, get the car setup properly (for you). And enjoy.

Be cheaper going on a diet, assuming you've got a couple of pounds to lose!
Seriously though there are other more cost-effective weight saves to do first. Like they have all said get used to it and prove you can use all it gives. Don't forget you, as all who use a bike engine, are getting a lot of power out of a few ccs, these engines are naturally highly stressed compared to a saloon car engine. Power does not come cheap. Best money you'll spend is on the right rubber IMHO.

Second what Kissy says about rubber... get some good stuff - you don't wanna be cutting corners with this especially on a track or a road... that narrow's it down then!!!
