Car cover

Has anyone found a full car cover that fits the Indy nicely? Would prefer waterproof, it will mainly be used to keep the dust off in the garage, but would be handy to keep in the car incase i got caught in a unexpected summer shower while showing it off down the pub!

Ive seen a few 7 sized ones in kit car and classic magazines, but as the original 7 is a fair bit smaller than the indy i wondered if anyone had one tried and tested.

Cheers

Hi,

I used cover solutions they do one's particulary for the seven. It is breathable waterproof easily washable and has zipped door access both sides and an adjustable strap to go underneath the car. Very good quality arpounfd £100 but worth it. I have had mine for nearly 2 years and it has been used for outside.

I just emailed Jill Judd at Soft Bits for Sevens linky. She does a trackday cover, which is really lightweight, but waterproof.

She does one to fit a Caterham SV, which is the wide body version, which she thinks should fit my Indy.

Downside is its over £100, not very locost.

Argos do a massive sheet of silver plastic that will cover a Locost twice over, not shaped or anything but only £9.99. They do upmarket versions at £24.99 and £39.99 that look shaped for saloons but a pair of scissors would sort that, or put some turnups on it.

There's one for a 7 on here.
