larger front brakes

does mk indy's warrant having bigger brakes than standard sierra on the front.
If any body has got them whats there opinion on them.

Thanks Des

Would suggest standard size, solid disks with some quality fast road type pads.

With a car this light, it doesn't take a lot to lock front brakes so go for good friction material and as lightweight as possible.

No

with standard sierra kit, i can easily lock the fronts, and that's with 205 toyo r888s on. there's the weight of a pinto sat over them too.

i'd definitely say no bigger than they already are.

Nope

so my 330mm 6pots may be a little overkill then

standard size would be fine....I bought 280mm solid discs and hispec calipers and I can't get any smaller than a 15'' rim on..

I'm kicking myself now...

if you're running 17's then bigger brakes would look nice but they have no actual advantage over standard sierra items for as everyone has said, weight!
