fuel tank's leaking now

it's not a mk item so no worries there!

teach me a lesson about buying cheap bloody alloy tanks filled up on saturday, went for a drive, pulled back in to the garage then sunday morning thought it smelt very petrol like, quick look couldn't see anything so thought nothing of it. just been out tonight, got home it stinks again and the bottom right hand side of the tank is wet no connections that side so it's not just something lose so looks like it's got a cracked weld not impressed!

anyways......anyone recomend a very well fitting tank for my indy that has a decent capacity? think my current one holds around 6 gallons so i'd like to keep near that.

martin (keenan) should make you a nice one.

you'd hope that one would fit well, as he's made enough.

Design your own and fax it to this guy for a quote?

Top notch work - I've a 50 litre tank in my Fury

I can recommend Allyfab as well - not the cheapest, but good quality and good service.

Unfortunately the first tank he sent me had a tiny weeping leak - when I rang Bryn he was heartbroken and couldn't do enough to replace it ASAP. The new one arrived within 2 or 3 days.

Problems can happen with every product, but it's how they're sorted out that makes the difference.
