as everyone has been saying dont go for 17s for handlingg and weight etc and 15s dont look that good Ive decided to find some 16's and meet everyone half way

I take it the offset is the same as the sierra I think the tyres are 195/50/16 does that sound right and is that the best size to go for

thanks chris

Got black 14" wheels on mine. 185/60/14 yoko A048r tyres. Handles well and look good (IMO).

My offset = ET35 (sierra is ET38 IIRC) Rescued attachment wheel.JPG

hi mate so why is yours et35

If you are only looking at 'cosmetic' reasons for choosing wheel size - don't forget tyre cost difference between 15" and 16". Got 195/50/15 Goodyear Eagle F1's for less than £50 each. Other sizes were considerably more expense.

Offset is generally stated by manufacturers as a range.
Sierra is 35....38 As are most fords.
I'll try and post a chart later.

195/50/16 AFAIK is a non existent size. You would be looking at using a 205/45/16 tyre.

Bought the wheels second hand ET35 seemed close enough to ET38 to not worry about.
