Hi all

I've been threatening to buy an Indy for a while and yesterday I did the deed. It's a blade engined beast and I had a blast driving it home the 30 or so miles from the seller's house.

The car appears straight, corners like nothing else I've owned, brakes well when you stamp on the middle pedal and generally seems to be in good order. Time will tell.

My list of jobs so far:

1. Gear shift operating the wrong way for me.
2. LSD needs collecting and fitting.
3. Sump needs drain plug moving and baffle.
4. Loud pedal and brake are not well positioned for heel and toe.
5. Could do with a service, been garaged for a few months.
6. Driver needs to learn how to move off from a standstill without stalling!

Cheers all for the help, advice and parts so far. It won't be the last of any that I'll need.

To take off without stalling.....loads revs and slip the clutch..... and if you would be so kind as to take the silencer off and do it outside my next door neighbour's house at 1am i would be most chuffed

Not that old conker again...

Don't go too high with the rev's... (say 2500) you can do that when the clutch is out You'll get used to it in no time!
