Got the engine up and running and now able to drive. Thought I would check that the steering self centred...It won't! Checked the upright inserts and wishbones fitted correct and they are. Checked toe in/out and set to slight toe out, but still very little self centreing. Anyone else had this problem? I know Mr. SVA would like some degree. I must say it does go well, trouble pulling away in 1st without spin, thats with a LSD. Can't imagine what the Hicost is like to drive!

I was concerned about this as I was preparing for SVA. I adjusted the castor to maximum, camber set for the wheels to be narrower at the top measured wheel to wheel and slowly increased toe out. I found that the self centering is very sensitive to toe out. I then found that just pushing the car forwards resulted in self centring. I didn't have any problems at SVA and have since set the wheels to slight toe in.

rear wheel drive cars are suposed to toe in so your prob could be there
