Hi all, Am I right in thinking that if I fit an igniter system to my 2lt pinto distributor I can do away with the amplifier? please correct me if I'm way of the mark.

AFAIK the Ignitor is to replace a points setup, so I guess it depends on exactly which dizzy you have.
