Looking for inspiration here.
I want my bonnet to sit directly onto the body sides, with no gap or black line of foam or rubber.
I have realised that the battery tray will sit on the body side too as per the pic...
What has anyone done to get round this?
I was wondering about trimming the tray back a bit and also trimming the return on the bonnet a bit so they share the width of the sidepanel top,
though this may make it difficut for me to secure the tray on this edge and could compromise the stiffness of the bonnet?
Heeeeeeeeeeeelp..

You will always have a bit of a gap due to the radiused edges of the bonnet and side panel.
I used thin foam strip on mine, mainly to give a bit of spring so the bonnet clips so the clamp down properly, the foam is quite thin so there is
hardly a gap at all. Also you can't notice the battery tray is there as the foam just compresses more there.
