I have been clearing out my garage and sorting out my donor parts still to prep and i've come across a few questions that I suppose I should know but don't so here they are.......

1. Does anyone know the dimensions of the indy chassy (so I know i've got enough room for the early stages!!)

2. Do you use the donor prop shaft as at the minute it's just taking space up ( if it makes a difference i'm using a pinto with mt75 box??? )

3. Do you use the Servo and master cylinder from a sierra or iss it somthing completely different? (again gathering dust!)

2. yes - it needs modifying by MK

3.dump the servo but you need the master cylinder.(or a new replacement)

how come you don't need the servo? any ideas?

servo :-

1 you don't need it

2 it adds weight

3 there is no room for it anyway

roughly 6ft wide and i think 11ft long, if you work on those sizes then it should just about fit!

as for dumping the servo, you simply won't need one, you're not trying to stop the 1300kg or what ever the original seirra weighed so don't need the assistance the servo offers. takes a bit of getting used to the brakes feeling so wooden but you'll soon get used to em.

Just measured mine and its close to 62 inches wide without the wheels on and 114 long without the nose. (Approx)

Plenty of room in garage even with the fridge,freezer and dryer. All I need to do now is finish prepping/painting my parts and get the kit ordered. Not long now..
I can't wait to get started propper!!!!!!

Thats a bugger with the chassis I was led to belive that it would fit ok from posts on here. will it be much more expensive to go that route?
Also I was told that the MT75 was easier to move the position of the gear stick backwards so its in an easier possition to use do you know if this is the case as it loks quite simple? Thanks again. john.

If i were you i would buy a new sierra brake master cylinder, no point taking chances!!

HI guys, Ken at MK said that its not a bad thing to use the servo because all the cars we are used to driving have them and so we will be used to the 'feel' it provides. I might use one.
