SHE'S ALIVE!! (Indy ZETEC)
Mave - 29/1/06 at 06:19 PM

Today I succesfully started the engine for the first time! At first attempt! After a couple of seconds on the started motor it jumped into life! With standard Ford ECU! You can see it for yourself in my latest update: http://www.mk-indy.nl/

This feels soooooooooo good!!!!!! It was such a pain to get the wiring right, and as I have never worked on engines before, I was not expecting a succesful start.

It does have a problem with idle though, but I think that has to do with the idle control valve set-up. I'll sort that out later.

How long will this silly grin stay on my face?

Well done, Its always a good feeling when they run for the first time.
All the best.
Steve.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the kind comments. The stupid grin is still on my face.

Micael; I'm interested in more info on your set-up!
