can I split my sierra prop in two as Im having difficulty fitting it without it wedging etc etc and its scratching everything


is it just that 17mm bolt

just undo then put back together with locktite

whats the best thing to grip the prop with to stop it from spinning as its very fragile

You can split it.

Har work to get the bolt out though - you can only turn it a fraction at a time.

There's a big shimmy washery thing in there as well with a small peg on it.

Two bolts in the end flange and a long bar between the bolts and resting on the floor.
