Need to get a interior mirror for SVA. As I've not fitted a screen will need one that goes on the scuttle...any advice on what to check for?

I've just put a pic on the photo page, sending off for SVA date, nearly finished.

Give Luego a call. They have an SVA complient one on one of their cars. You have to be carefull with these things as some are ok and some are not.

Theres no such thing as SVA complient. All it means is that one car at one time with a 'mirror' for example fitted in a certain way in a certain place has passed SVA. Another car with the same mirrors but positioned slightly differently may well fail. Complience is not just about sharp edges and e marks etc. The vehicle Inspectorate DO NOT endorse any product as being SVA complient and they are the olnly body that could do so. Anyone that advertises the fact is doing so falsley. You usually see items advertised as 'SVA friendly'. Beware!

All i meant was they had one that was radiused more than 2.5mm and had gone through on a car that passed an SVA. It may be down to positioning, i don't know but the guy said it's an SVA able mirror.

Interior mirror must be marked with safety mark (E1) for exterior mirrors its (E111).

as long as its got that then you can radius the edges etc to suit the other sva rulings.
