Harness bracket thread size?
donut - 28/3/03 at 06:20 PM

Hi

Does anyone have any idea of the thread in the harness brackets 9holes or whatever) on the Indy chassis. I have bought a 7/16 UNF tap but it seems to be too big?????

Cheers

Which is 11.1125mm if you really want to go metric

You may have got a plug tap instead of a taper tap. A taper tap has a reuced dia to allow the thread to be started.
Seatbelt mounts must be a minimum of 7/16 or 11mm for SVA.
