auzziejim - 2/4/03 at 08:32 PM

well i would say well done but to be fair all you did was write obscenely large cheques

Anyway enjoy it and be safe

James

mdc124 - 2/4/03 at 08:41 PM

Hmmmmm - they were normal sized cheques - anyway I would have built it if I could have.

If I ever get a double garage I'm going to build myself a GT1 (slowly)

So much for the spirit of whatever :-P

(Thanks for the safety thought though (0: )

hey im not havin a dig! i hav seen your site and i realise that it wouldnt be easy to build a car!

however if you fancy writing another cheque il take one for £1k to save me taking out a 3 month loan and then i can buy the deluxe kit! (yea i think i know the answer already)

Congrats on the new toy.

What Sabelts are they (clunk-click style or quick release)?
And where did you get them from?
And how much were they?

Questions, questions always with the questions!

mdc124 - 2/4/03 at 09:15 PM

Thanks, They are the clunk-click type, Quick release someday maybe!

They are available various places (MK supplied mine)

I've seen them various places sub £50 each, not sure exactly what price MK sells them for.

locodude - 2/4/03 at 09:26 PM

I think they're £40ish and as Matthew said they're the clunk-click type. Quick release are not allowed at SVA. Ok to change after tho' I think.
Glad you like the new toy matthew, I'm sure the builder is happy too as he needs the space for the next build and his own conversion to hairdryer power

Looks seriously cool, like the scoop on the top does that cover the air filter, or is it for aseathetics only?
wheels are nice too!!!!!!
Have fun
Ben

mdc124 - 3/4/03 at 08:53 PM

Yes the bulge covers the tip of the airbox and I think it sets the car off to a 'T'

Makes It a little different too? Yes?

Ben 4x4 Shepperd - 3/4/03 at 09:31 PM

definitly can you get the bulgey bit from mk??

mdc124 - 3/4/03 at 09:35 PM

Yes, and at least in:

Yellow
Black
Carbon Fibre (effect )

No idea how much

Ben 4x4 Shepperd - 3/4/03 at 09:51 PM

cool mines black but with a zx9 and so one of those bilges could be on the cards
Cheers,
Ben
p.s. did you buy the wheels or get them from a donor (a nice donor at that)??

mdc124 - 4/4/03 at 08:39 AM

MK Should be able to supply them as well

Although I bought mine before MK started 'dealing' :p
