Any suggestions on how to connect the cable to the pedal?

Does an adjuster need to be incorporated?

MK do a connector kit that incluses the adjuster.

I have a pinto with a type 9 box and have used a mk 2 escort cable. This has an adjuster at the clutch end. Pedal end has an eyelet. Used nylock nut, bolt and and 2 washers. Not on the road yet but seems ok.
