Hi,I think the usual ones fitted now are Nissan micra or VW polo or the old favourite escort Mk1 or 2.
I thought MK used to fit the micra when they were builing full cars for people.
Snoopy will confirm the exact types used though.

lol, made special for them!

a standard mk1/2 escort one has an expansion cap neck on the top, and the lower outlet is horizontal.

MK get a washer and 1p piece soldered onto the top, and the bottom outlet gets a 90degree bit brazed on to clear the rack.

my washer and penny combo on the top leaked before, so i've replaced it with some flat copper sheet, which has now sealed it. knowing what i know now, i'd probably get a standard rad, and get it modded at the local rad place.

that is of course assuming you mean this rad, as i was supplied 2 years ago. V .no idea what they do now. Rescued attachment rad.jpg

I left the filler neck on my escort rad and fitted a higher pressure cap so it would not blow before the header bottle, then drilled and fitted a copper pipe to the header for a bleed pipe to the header bottle.
