looks very tidy.

i think you've lost your bonnet and scuttle bulkhead during the week (mind you the bonnet needed refitting as was sitting a little low )

What with everything being twin cam nowdays i'd forgotten how slim a single cam lump looks.

Very neat, be a shame to clutter it up with carbs and an exhaust!

Confused but excited. - 11/7/06 at 09:17 PM

Dig dem shiny bones !
Very nice.

SALAD - 11/7/06 at 09:55 PM

Yeah, are they stainless bones or chromed?

Marlon - 11/7/06 at 10:12 PM

Thanks for all the possitive comments, there'll be more piccies soon (after my jollies!)

SALAD - The wishbones are chromed (Through MK)

Swines aren't they... pikies have put a lump of Iron in your engine bay. You can get a good price for Cast Iron nowadays...

Seriously - nice build amazing how it seems to take ages then some days it simply glides together! Nice neat job... keep it up!

Looking good, particularly the chromed bones

One thing I did notice is the cable clips securing the loom to the chassis. Are they the stick on type with self adhesive foam? If so, if would be worth replacing with screw or rivet fixed versions both for SVA and for long term reliability.

Top bones do appear to be on wrong way round.

Ooo I hope it's just a bad pic of that area, here is one from above with the front of the car to the left,

The book said to put the longest leg to the front, is this right??
Also the cable clips are the self adhesive ones but they do have rivets in them through the holes in the back as you can't be too carefull!!

Looks the nuts mate!!

Marlon - 13/7/06 at 05:18 PM

A big sigh of relief from me then on the bones!!

Thanks for all the great comments on the build so far, I'll keep you all posted with updated pics soon.

Looking good but if you took the dart board off the back of the door you might have got a lot more done
