I know this has been posted on loads of times but could someone answer this.
Vicky green loom fitted, which alternator type is easiest to fit using this loom as wiring isn't my strong point and which alternator is easiest
to mount by fabricating a bracket as I have no access or skill at welding.
Which engine are you using? Unless you are using the one that came with the engine you will most likely need a fabricated bracket. Any alternator uses a feed direct to the battery and a wire to the warning light which usually has power to excite the alternator.

But a Bedford Rascal (or it's Japanese equivalent) one is small and has the correct profile pulley for your Pinto. (Assuming it's a Pinto as
I've searched your other posts)
Just a case of fabbing a mount for it then.
As for wiring... do it as Pete says.

don't forget that the earth connection is made via the alternator body so don't insulated it from the mounts/engine/chassis.
Do a search for NIPPON DENSO. Pics of the item plus pics of Alt fitted. May give you some ideas about making your own bracket.
Also more info so people know engine type your using. (In your profile.)
