that question is impossiable to answer, so many variations on it some are bike engined race bread monsters others are as book. decide what you want and pick what suits you best.

the best for what?

which one do you like best?

Surrey Dave - 5/10/06 at 07:46 PM

Mine is the BEST one I've ever made!!!

Even if you buy a good chassis it could still be a pile of c**p if not built right.......

Hellfire - 5/10/06 at 09:33 PM

Any........ as long as it's got a bike engine. It must have a bike engine, otherwise it's crap!

the best locost is one you build yourself.
not when your building it,because it takes longer
but when its finished how many people can
say when asked "is it a kit car?"
NO its not a kit car I did it all myself!!!

zetec7 - 6/10/06 at 03:39 AM

Mines' the best! Nyeah nyeah nyea
(okay, when it's finished it will be IMHO)

Peteff - 6/10/06 at 09:06 AM

Locoblade (stuart taylor)
Mac 1
MK eng.
etc..... These aren't Locosts, they are all manufacturers chassis and are Wes7field lookalikes Locosts are built from raw materials in sheds or beneath tarpaulins under all kinds of impossible conditions in the dead of winter and by torchlight using tools which you find on car boot sales and flea markets and have to repair them before you can use them. The best ones are the ones that cost nothing and take 30 years to build.

What Pete said!

Then they say "Wow, did you really do all those body panels yourself?" to which you reply "No, they're just standard kit car panels"
