Vrey basic question guys, how have you secured your Play's Kool aeroscreens onto your cars?
Debating whether to bond or rivet mine on...
Tim
used very tiny BA slotted csk screws and nuts, then painted the heads black afterwards.

I think the best way would be with black anodised button heads, straight through the scuttle.
No way would I bond it.
Large (M8) Stainless Steel Domed Socket Caps. Washers on the inside to spread the load.
P.S. I know it's an MK one but here's mine!

M8 crikey guiness thats not gonna come off in a hurry! Think my engine is fixed in with M8's and i thought that was overkill

Overkill, me?
Nothing's ever fallen off my car, or even thought about coming loose.
Yet.
Mind you the engines haven't been that reliable!

Don't rivet it. They will pinch it too tight to the bodywork. Use black or gun metal anodized bolts. I used gunmetal grey m4 bolts, but I helped
someone else put one on and he used black m5 bolts and they looked fine.
This might help.

ive got a play kool carbon aeroscreen on my indy, ive used motorcycle screen bolts. Theyre like rubber grommets with a nut captive in the end that
squish up when you tighten them. They dont damage it cos theyre protected via rubber washer etc. Hold it in well too. Used them on the mirrors too.
ill find a pic for you...........
