I HAVE RECENTLY FINISHED AN MK INDYBLADE AND I AM FINDING THAT THE
TEMPERATURE IS GOING UP TO 120 DEGREES IS THIS NORMAL . THE GUYS AT HONDA SAY IT WILL RUN TO THIS HOWEVER I WOULD PREFER IT TO BE A LITTLE BIT COOLER . IT HAS A POLO RAD +
ELCTRIC FAN , ANY IDEAS ! ALSO IT IS VERY RAPID 0 - 90 BUT IT IS REVVING V/ HARD ARE THER ANY OTHER DIFF CHOICES APART FROM STANDARD SIERRA . THANKS JJ

I have a nissan micra rad and thermostatic switch to operate the fan.
Mine does not get quite that high but it does get to around 110 degrees. The fan comes on at about 105 degrees. On the track on saturday it was running at about 100 degrees so I was stopping to cool the engine.

I thougth mine was too high as some other appear to run at no higher than 90

Cheers

Jim

very rare i see over 100 temp, i was always sceptical about that "water wetter" stuff till i put some in the GT1, it bought the temp down enough for the fan not to come on even in race conditions.

whilst it probably is ok at 120 i would be looking to get it down.

Have you considered daft things like the angle of the radiator. Westfields always overheat when you fit the rad. to the their "book" angle.
