Was this the kitcar insurers?

ordinary insurers don't want to know.

Try flux or sureterm

I tried flux and they siad they could not do it 4 my age they said somethin like 25

they also said that the advanced test would not make any difference

I think the insurance companies have realised that the engine capacity is no longer a good way to measure a car's performance - they know all about bike engines now!

Have you tried Footman James?
They seem pretty on the ball and willing to accomodate kit car drivers needs.

I've used MSM Insurance, prices are ok and they are easy to deal with. Although if you are under 25 I would think the premiums would be high for a BEC.
