iv never built kit car b4 my friends r buildin indy an i saw the gt1 an want 1 but need info like am i aiming too high an how much will it cost at the end i want it for trak an weekend on road will i get it through sva thax
Don't know much about the GT1, but it has a chassis, engine/box suspension etc just like all the other cars, so assembly should be just that.
It may be more expensive than an Indy, but if you've got the money, shouldn't be a problem.
As for getting through the SVA test, you should contact MK - they will be best for info on that front.

I had never lifted a spanner in my life before building my Indy (almost true!) and i must say it's been pretty easy.
I can't see the GT1 beeing much different except maybe in the engine dept but there is always loads of help on here and at MK.
Don't forget to join the Club!!!!

Saw some pics on here of someone building a GT1 (Jon Ison???). Looked liked it required a bit of welding and wasn't just a spanners job.
Dunno if any have been SVA'd yet either, so I think it might be a track only car.

just spanners, the welding pics you saw was the engine been moved forward 5" in the race car and a welded cage going in....
