I bought a plastic petrol tank from the mk stand at stoneleigh but never asked what capacity it was, anybody know? thanks
can't you measure it? length x width x depth...100 cubic cm = 1 Litre ...i think..
My indy tank is about 10" deep and should i'm told carry a tad over 5 and 1/2 gallons.

5 Kit Cars to le Mans and back, one with a tank capacity of only 5 gallons. Exactly how uneconomical are your cars? We never ran dry once!
Of course you could allways ask the nice man who makes the tanks to make a bigger one, I'm sure he'd only be too happy to oblige
How much would the nice man charge for a nice plastic tank suitable for a sierra injection?
Or Zetec injection???
Mick
Around £70-£80, all tanks are now suitable for both carb or injection. £70 gets you a std tank or £80 gets one with about a gallon more capacity.
I'll mail you off list.
