hi,building an mk indy.just got a mondeo 2.0 with a silver top zetec (1994/5) for my car will it need a cat or not,been told that pre 95 it wont and subject to a bet (basic emmision test) test,if it fails this then a cat is req. is this correct ?

find the engine number - that is the important bit as far as age goes not the registration of the car.
