13" rims et and offset??
macspeedy - 11/2/08 at 11:58 AM

I have aquired a set of 13" Kn raceline minilight style alloys, they have an offset of about 108 mm which is to much for the back but where such a bargin i will keep them. What is the best offset for the back as i'll need to buy 2 more rims for the back? Also how do you convert offset to an et? tyres fitted are 195 50 13"

Thanks
Mac

This one will calculate change of offset as you change wheel sizes

This link is to the Tyre & Wheel bible and should clarify the inset to ET connection

Page from the Image wheels website, explaines measurements needed to calculate clearance.
Don't forget that the tyre bulges out a good 1/2 inch so a clearance distance of 1 inch over the rim to mounting face back distance is probably safe

If your wheels do not clear the bodywork or shocks on the inside then some wheel spacers and (very important) longer studs will push your wheels further out giving clearance.
