Front Brake line to flexi junction
StevenB - 19/2/08 at 10:58 PM

Can I get a few pics or methods on how people have secured / made the junction
between the brake line and the flexi heading for the front calipers.

Is there an ideal spot for where the brake pipe passes through the side panel?

Cheers

You're spot on where it is now...

IIRC you need to rivet or place a reinforcement on the side panel at the junction so the brake line wont flex..

Is fixing a small bracket to the nearby chassis upright the best way?

I take it ...anywhere inside the red box
is fine?

yeah i think you can do that.. just remember to put a grommet on the hole of the side panel to avoid chaffing.

this is how mine are, used an offcut of side panel to reinforce the point here the flexi passes though the side panel, passed sva ok but some have had to bracket the flexi hose aswell
