after driving my car a couple of times i think my steering needs speeding up a bit
im using a standard sierra wheel and standard steering rack (althoits been shortened
i want to know what ratio rack to use and also what steering wheels have you all got
thanks folks

If you use a smaller wheel it'll speed up the steering don't forget!!!! If you're going to change steering wheels do that first then decide on the rack...

MK sell quick racks, they will fit one in your already shortend rack, this coupled to a 280mm wheel works well on the Indy, but its down to personal preference, and what ever suits you.

theres a lot of debate around wheel sizes caterhams seem to prefer the smaller ones, personally I think 15" are big enough, above thet there appears to be a lot of vagueness due to lack of movement in the sidewall of the tyre.

might call in on mk this week see what they say

12" or 13"

Have driven with both I can say 10" & 11" are much too small ---

Hi steering wheels are a very personal choice. But as a guide the most popular wheel fitted to kit cars is the 280mm MOMO model 26. This wheel just feels so much more comfortable that most others.

Cheers Matt
