Can anyone tell me if this will fit a normall Indy please?
eBay Link
From wikipedia
The Mk2 was available with the following engines:
* 1.1 1093 cc 4 cylinder petrol engine (1981-1983)
So is the advent wrong?
POLO Mk2 1.1 1983-90
I would think being from a 1.1 litre engine might not be enough for the cooling needs for your car.
I would consider Renault clios, 19 with the 1.8 16v engine or clio williams.
That's my opinion though
Mines only a 900cc engine though, the bike rad is much smaller although also probably more efficient.
I seem to remember having bookmarked a '92 polo rad because I think thats the on that fits but now can't find any on ebay...
Just don't want to order the wrong one...
Mark,
That rad will fit in the Indy nose cone. I have the same fitted in my Pinto engined Indy and it is more than capable of keeping it cool.
Not sure from the advert, but it doesn't look like it comes with a fan switch. Probably need to allow another £10 for one although they are fine
switching the fan without a relay which keeps the wiring simple.
It's a bit fiddly getting the bottom hose fitted, but fine once in place.
