Just discovered it and with a 2.3L capacity, 140bhp and 200Nm of torque, sounds like a good motor to use.
Would make an alternative cruiser style BEC eh?
Good alternative to a Pinto more like, just as heavy, only revs to 6k
Seriously, it would be great to to to be different though.
Stick the supercharger kit on it for 220Hp and bingo
The Rocket doesn't do anything that a car engine won't do... just a bigger headache to use!
It doesn't have any of the appeal that the Superbike engines give you!

And what about the noise? Would it not be worth it just to hear that beautiful 3 cylinder music?
No!
Would cost more than building the car to buy one. If you want a fruity triple what about a Laverda?
Gary
I'm not sure it is such a bad idea. Don't forget it has a sequential gearbox. Would cost you over 3 grand to put one on a car engine! With ReMan's supercharger it would be quite a package!
I stand corrected (as I often do ).
The Rocket engine without TB's and starter is only 82kg!!!

Loads of torque, easily tunable, lovely sound (with a decent exhaust) and I think it is shaft drive too! Do it - just to be different and because.....! I had a Triumph Daytona engine in my kit, and it pulled like a train, and sounded amazing - the problem I had with it was the gearing - it topped out at 110mph. Have you checked the ratios of the Rocket?
Guess what I've done...
