Is the taper on the Cortina ball joint the same as the Maxi joint?

I am using Cortina uprights and presently have wishbones with Cortina ball joint.

But have been offered better wishbones but for the Maxi joint.

Any comments please?

Yes the maxi joint will fit the Tina upright but not the Sierra.unless you ream it.
