The account its been sold on will be hacked too, if you've been in touch with them then it should have been pulled by now, shocking but standard eBay customer service I'm afraid.

I can't see how the 'seller' could carry this on through, though. Surely at some point, even if the car isn't 'viewed' by the prospective bidder, then the thief/fraudster/politician/bankster/whoever (i.e the scum) will eventually have to meet the 'purchaser'... unsure how this would benefit the scum.

This is going beyond the usual overseas guy with a large cheque, a difficult set of circumstances and terminal cancer.
