Right guys'n'girls
Have seen a car for sale on p/heads and have contacted the seller. The seller informs me that the sale is being dealt with
by p/heads as they are away in Aus. The car will be delivered to my home address and they will cover any costs.
I have now mailed them to say i will only pay when car is delivered and am awaiting a response.
Do p/heads actually handle sales ,if so its a new one on me.
What do you guys think Scam or not ???

I still wouldn't pay if they delivered. Only buy after seeing the car at their house on their driveway. Sounds like an updated version of
"meet me at the services pal - it'll be easier for you!"

Have now emailed p/heads regarding the ad.
Car is about the right money and has a phone number on the ad (haven't rung it though).
Will await p/heads response.

As yet no responce from p/heads but here's the reply from the seller....

this is why PH doesn't organize viewings.

You will send the 2.800.00 pounds by bank to bank wire transfer to a PistonHeads managed account.As soon as the payment is verified they will deliver
the car to your address and offer you a 24 hrs inspection of the car.
If you will decide you want to purchase the car PistonHeads will forward your payment in my bank account and the sale is concluded.If you will reject

During the 24 hrs inspection period you can take the car to a garage or have it RAC/AA inspected,I absolutely welcome any checks you want to perform
on the car and documents.

Funnily enough after refusing to send them any money i've not heard back and the advert has now been pulled it seems.
I usually find a good rule of thumb is that if you even think of asking yourself that question then the answer is SCAM!!
