Got the inflatable ones but really dont like them

Clothes in a pillow case
I just use rolled up jumper/jacket stuffed under the top of the sleeping bag.
me 2 - usually a fleece / hoody

clothes/jacket in a lightweigh dry bag or failing that my rucksack
I take the one off the bed, squashes down to not very big. Why are they out the question?

Take a wine box with you, drink all the wine. Then pull out the insides and blow up, works a treat.
I'm with Coozer on the subject I take the feather one from my bed and the duvet aswell its like home from home.

at Stoneleigh i used the plastic tub i used to get the water out of the tent when it rained all night , lets just say i was very wet that night
If a proper pillow is out of the question due to size/packaging, you just need to get yourself one of them vacuum bag things. Two pillows would get pretty small. Ah - you might have to bring your hoover along though to pack them for the way home
