thanks for the tip, i ordered one yesterday and will keep it
in the comfort of my room along with my welding rods as im told its important to keep them out of the damp cold depths of the garage

Agreed, mine is quite dead
Its because they are LCD. Leave them somewhere warm for a little while and it will be OK again. Well it should be....
