After all the squit of the last couple of days and the subsequent fall out can I open up some topics of debate to get us all going again?!

1 - CEC Vs BEC

2 - Bushes, crush tube spin or bush spin in housing?

3 - Parts delivery from suppliers

4 - Mot or not after 1st year?

5 - Aluminium suspension parts

Right then DISCUSS!

Howlor - 4/5/07 at 08:10 PM

Chris - Can we have this as a FAQ post please. At least then people can check this and if their question is here then don't bother asking it as you know your not going to get a straight answer!

Not necessarily! We should start a poll.

davie h - 4/5/07 at 08:31 PM

real or fake

RichieW - 4/5/07 at 08:33 PM

Black or Silver wheels????

Black and silver surely!!!

A nice set of revolution four spokes are the zenith of wheel design. IMHO

Non of that 90s grey alloy nonsense.

Polished rims with a bit of a bit of black to contrast is the way forward!!!

PS any one got a couple spare 6 or 7j in thirteens?????

Ta.

Paul (Notts) - 4/5/07 at 08:40 PM

17" toyos with silver wheels...

speaking of wheels - they just have to be compomotive CXr's

Oh.. and foregt bike engines it's just got to be a V8

[Edited on 4/5/07 by Paul (Notts)]

joneh - 4/5/07 at 09:02 PM

MIG or TIG?

NeilP - 4/5/07 at 09:03 PM

17" pro-race in silver, lots of chrome and stainless and a lurveeely V6 (That's a handbrake on a yacht for the BEC boys )

David (Flak) - Good to see you on the airwaves mate...

zxrlocost - 4/5/07 at 09:05 PM

Ill bet my moneys worth youll all turn BEC within 6 months and theres a reason for it

locostv8 - 4/5/07 at 09:13 PM

We could always discuss the use of a V8 as opposed to something to make the car move under it's own power.

stevec - 4/5/07 at 09:18 PM

Ian

zxrlocost - 4/5/07 at 09:25 PM

how about

1 BECS have no torque

2 Ive never done my SVA but know everything about it because Ive read the book and it says this so ill argue with people who have done there SVA.

3 the chap who designed ie a sports car was a genius at welding, race tuning, racing, suspension etc however Ive never built a car before but My CAD program tells me he was a Nuclear discombobilation of a mm out on his front wishbone brackets will this be life threatening.

4 erm how much mpg will my BEC do Im worried it might drop below 25mpg

omega0684 - 4/5/07 at 09:25 PM

V8 or Cossie?

jollygreengiant - 4/5/07 at 09:30 PM

Turbo OR super charger.

joneh - 4/5/07 at 09:38 PM

Inie or outie?

andrew.carwithen - 4/5/07 at 10:01 PM

Rear drums or discs?

kipper - 4/5/07 at 10:45 PM

Reverse box or not???????is this a retrograde question???
I love red wine hik burp.

Coose - 4/5/07 at 10:51 PM

This is easy: -

Black 13" CXRs ,
Toyo,
Striker,
Rear drums are ok if set up right,
Live axles aren't bad,
BEC (though a good CEC has a place!),
No reverse at all - why go backwards?
C or D - breasts are just simply great!

I think that's everything covered there...
